Maya has been a full-time wheelchair user since her mid-twenties and spent twelve years as an occupational therapist before turning to travel advising — so she evaluates ships with a clinician's eye and a traveler's stakes. She has sailed 40+ times specifically to test accessibility, always from her own wheelchair.
She plans cruises for travelers with mobility, sensory, cognitive, and medical considerations — and for the families and companions who travel with them. She knows which ships deliver, which lines oversell, and which itineraries hide a tender port that changes everything.
